I love all Nick’s books - this one is for very slightly older children I think than the audience for his Percy and the park keepers ones … a lively book that can be read with lots of expression and different voices . Well done Nick - another fab book !
Another wonderful book from Nick Butterworth. My children (and I) love Percy the Park keeper and have the whole collection. This is a fun addition. My son loves the old yellow car and we adore the humorous elements, such as fox scooping up hedgehog in a net along the way and the squirrel whispering that a tree is watching them.
It’s a beautiful and thoughtful story I love it illustrations as usual amazing especially the night sky
Bought this for my Husband who adores the illustrations- first discovered when reading to our son 20+ years ago. The story is good too.
